Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and meet our guide and driver. Transfer to hotel and check-in. In the afternoon city tour in Ulaanbaatar city: visit Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan’s monument, Natural History Museum, and visit Zaisan Memorial for Panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Yoliin Am Valley

Take a flight to the South Gobi region via eye challenging open steppe. Gobi desert will give you an exotic view of the desert with a wonderful view of horizons, rare species of mammals and plants. Arrive at the camp and relax. Visit Eagle valley well known as Yoliin Am that located in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan national park. It is the end of the Altai mountain ranges and chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, golden eagle and of course vultures. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 3. Khongor Sand Dune

Drive to Khongor sand dune well known as Singing Dune. Khongor sand dune is one of the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia. It has an extraordinary length of approximately 100kms and 12 kilometers wide. There is an oasis near a river Khongor at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 4. Leisure Day in Khongor dune

Stay at the Khongor sand dune and relax. In the afternoon visit local camel herder family and ride camel to the dune. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 5. Bayanzag – Flaming Cliffs

Drive to Bayanzag, well known as Flaming Cliffs. Bayanzag is an important site for both archaeological and paleontological findings. Complete dinosaur skeletons and eggs are excavated from red cliffs, which look like fire. American explorer Roy Chapman Andrew had discovered this area in the early 20 century and getting famous all over the world. If you see carefully, you could find a piece of bone or dinosaur egg. In the afternoon, short hiking Gobi tree-saxaul forest. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 6. Ongi Temple

Drive to Ongi temple ruin. It was the largest Buddhist center in the Gobi region. There are 2 complexes of temple ruins that were built up in the 1780s. During political repression in the 1930s,’ these two temples destroyed and many lamas were executed and imprisoned. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 7. Kharkhorum

Drive to Kharkhorum. Visit Erdenezuu monastery which is the first Buddhist monastery in the country. It was built in 1586 near Kharkhorum city ruin. And see the archaeological site of the Kharkhorum ancient capital city of Mongolia. And have a short visit to Monument dedicated to the Greatest Dynasties of Mongolia. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 8. Erdenzuu-Tsenkher Spa

A day in Kharkhorum. Visit Erdenezuu monastery which is the first Buddhist monastery in the country. It was built in 1586 near Kharkhorum city ruin. And see the archaeological site of the Kharkhorum ancient capital city of Mongolia. After lunch, drive to Tsenkher hot spa. Have a spa bath and relax at ger camp.

Day 9. Khorgo National Park

Drive to Khorgo Terkh National Park. On the way, we will see a tree named 108 branches of a tree with a covered blue scarf (Khadag) and Mongolians are believe that praying for this tree brings good luck and see Chuluut river great canyon which huge creation of volcanic earthquake Arrive at Khorgo and overnight at ger camp.

Day 10. Zuun Nuur

Drive Zuun nuur camp which located on the way to Khuvsgul Lake. Afternoon hiking along the lake area and visit the local nomad family. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 11. Khuvsgul Lake National Park

Drive to Khuvsgul Lake. Lake Khuvsgul, like a dubbed as Mongolia Switzerland and a lake surrounded by green forest mountains. Also, it is 1% of the freshwater resources in the world. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 12. Reindeer Herder

Visit Tsaatan well known as reindeer people where lived app 50kms from our campsite and it takes 2.5 hours of driving. (Depends on year around) if the climate is hot they move to the mountain looking for a good living condition for their reindeers. There will be two families one is Tsaatan reindeer herder and Shaman. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 13. Khuvsgul Lake

Stay a full day at the Lake Site in order to hike and horseback ride. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 14. Ulaanbaatar

Take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping opportunities to cashmere and souvenir shops. In the evening, enjoy Mongolian Folk Music and Dance Performance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15. Departure

Check out hotel and transfer to the airport for departure.
