Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Take a flight to Murun town, the centre of Huvsgul aimag, y. After arriving in Murun, we are having an excursion to Uushgiin uvur ancient site with a rich collection of ancient deer stones and tombstones. There are 14 beautifully carved deer stones in the same area. Continue driving to Husvgul lake and arrive at ger camp by the lake. After being settled in a ger camp conveniently located on the western shore of the lake, we enjoy relaxing time in the refreshing settings of the beautiful lake. Overnight at Naranzangilaa ger camp.
After breakfast, visit the reindeer herders, the most primitive ethnic group in Mongolia. Experience riding reindeers and experience the primitive lifestyle of reindeer people residing in the remotest part of the country. Have packed lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at the ger camp.

Day 2. Murun/Khuvsgul lake

Enjoy experiencing the lake and exploring the surrounding area by ourselves. Known as the “dark blue pearl” of Mongolia, Lake Huvsgul is one of the country’s largest lakes and it features one of the most spectacular areas of the country. With 136 kilometres in length and 36 kilometres wide stretching from north to south, Huvsgul is the 14th largest fresh-water lake in the world by volume and its 380 cubic kilometres of water make up over 1% of the world’s fresh water. About a hundred rivers and streams pour into Huvsgul lake, but only the Egiin River exits the lake. Overnight in gers at the shore of Huvsgul lake. In the afternoon we are also visiting a reindeer settlement and Shaman spiritual place on the northwest of the lake. In the evening return to ger camp and relax. Overnight in gers at the shore of Huvsgul lake. Overnight at Naranzangilaa ger camp.

Day 3. A day at Khuvsgul Lake

Today we will drive to Khatgal village to take a boat trip on the lake by Sukhbaatar ship at 12.30p.m. The Sukhbaatar is the only ship on the lake and used from the Soviet era. In Khatgal we will visit the lake information centre to get more information about lake and nature conservation. The afternoon we have a horse riding trip along the lakeshore and forest to the highest point if the area. in the evening return at ger camp and relax. Overnight at Ashikhai ger camp.

Day 4. Murun/Terelj National Park

In the morning transfer to Murun to take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel or the next connection of the tour.
