Mongolian Nomads move 4-5 times a year looking for good pasture for their animals. Every nomadic family prefers to live close to water recourse, forest, mountains, and plentiful vegetation which is the best condition for animal husbandry.
Therefore Khuisiin Naiman Nuur Natural Monument is an exceptional combination of freshwater, lush green forest, picturesque mountains, and many natural resources where animals and people leisurely live in the summertime. Also, it is a valuable place for biological hydrologic study. These lakes with fresh water and interconnected by groundwater channels located 5-30km distance from each other such as Shireet, Khaliut, Bugat, Khaya, Khuis, Onon, Doroo, Bayan-Uul, are called Khuisyn Naiman Nuur (Eight Lakes).
Besides Natural beauty and surrounding landscape makes the area the paradise of hiking & horse trekking.
Our Company offers horse trekking and hiking tours based on the local community. Nomadic families living in the area are the main part of the tours. They will supply horses, meals, and accommodation for travelers.
